Welcome

We invite you to complete our admissions contact form to submit questions online, or to be added to our prospective student mailing list. We send occassional e-mails about application launches and deadlines, campus events, and related updates of interest to prospective BASW, MSW, and PhD students.

Talk With Us

You may call 206-543-5676 with questions or to schedule an on-campus or phone appointment with an advisor. Appointments are necessary unless you join us for open drop-in advising (Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m).  We are located in room 23 on the ground floor of the School of Social Work building, and the office is open between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on most weekdays during the year.

We are committed to serving a diverse student body. Underrepresented applicants including veterans, students of color, individuals with disabilities, first generation college scholars and anyone interested in our commitment to diversity are invited to contact our two Student Information Specialist ambassadors, who are also current MSW students. They look forward to meeting all prospective students and welcome questions about classes, student life, diversity, housing, Seattle, the application process, or why they love UW!
