This longitudinal study is collecting and analyzing the 12th and 13th waves of data at ages 30 and 33 from the Seattle Social Development Project (SSDP) panel of 808 children followed from age 10. This study focuses on understanding childhood and adolescent risk and protective factors predictive of substance abuse, violence, and related health and behavior problems and understanding long term effects of preventive interventions provided to a portion of the panel during the elementary grades.
