Node of the National Institute on Drug Abuse Clinical Trials Network

Abstract

The Clinical Trials Network (CTN) is a cooperative agreement among NIDA, 14 university-based Regional Research and Training Centers, and Community-based Treatment Programs that have contracted with those regional centers (5-10 programs per center). The purpose of the CTN is to conduct clinical trials in community-based addiction treatment programs to bridge existing gaps between research and practice. The Washington Node, funded in January 2001 is based at the University of Washington
