As of Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, the UW School of Social Work resumes its regularly scheduled building hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. The building is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
If you are School of Social Work faculty, staff or students, the School grants you building access outside of public hours for classes, which take place in the evening or on Saturdays—and for computer access in room 18.
In addition, the School of Social Work offers extended access to its Research Commons on:
Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, 1 – 5 p.m.
Because the Research Commons houses staff offices, only those who work in the Research Commons have full access to the space. Otherwise, the School allows access to the space for UW faculty, staff, students and visitors for meetings, computer use, photocopying and other academic/scholarly needs. If you are School of Social Work faculty, staff or students and cannot access the appropriate space as needed, please send an email to sswadmin@uw.edu and include your name, affiliation with the School of Social Work, and, if a student, your student number.
