- UW Commencement Ceremony refers to the University-wide graduation ceremony held on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
- School of Social Work Graduation Celebration refers to the School of Social Work Graduation Celebration that takes place on Thursday, June 08, 2017 at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. The program runs from about 6 to 8:30 p.m. with reception to follow. Students need to arrive by 5 p.m.
- Applying for the degree refers to the paperwork or online process that formally notifies the University that you have fulfilled all academic requirements for the degree. BASW students apply through their adviser; MSW and PhD students apply through the UW Graduate School.
