MSW Full-Time Program

Formerly known as the Day program, the MSW Full-Time Program is a full-time, two-year program. Required courses and most practicum placements are offered during Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters, during weekday and daytime hours. In their second year, students choose one of the three specializations in the MSW curriculum: Administration and Policy Practice, Community-Centered Integrative Practice, or Clinical Social Work.

For a sample schedule for each quarter in the MSW Full-Time Program, visit the MSW Full-Time Two-Year Course & Fieldwork page.

Practicum Placement Process

Accessible Accordion

MSW Full-Time Tw0-Year students have two practicum placements: one in their Generalist year and one in their Specialized year.

The Generalist Practicum provides students with a range of learning opportunities across micro, mezzo, and macro practice.

The Specialized Practicum is tailored to a student’s chosen specialization and offers broader responsibilities and more complex skill development.
