Staff Council Lunch and Learn – CSSAT

We’re thrilled to extend another invitation to our Staff Lunch and Learn series, hosted by the SSW Staff Council!
Our upcoming session is scheduled for Friday, November 15th, from 12-1pm via Zoom.
The Lunch and Learn series aims to offer a platform for staff members to gain insights into the diverse departments, research centers, and various roles within our school. Presented by our very own SSW staff, these sessions also provide an opportunity to exchange valuable information from departments and research centers that can benefit our entire community.
Drop into the session any time between noon and 12:15 to meet and connect with other SSW staff through a structured social activity.
The presentation portion of the Lunch and Learn will run from approximately 12:15 to 12:45, with time for questions and discussion until 1pm.
November’s Lunch and Learn will take a deeper look at The Center for Social Sector Analytics & Technology (CSSAT).
The Center for Social Sector Analytics & Technology (CSSAT) was created in 2019 with the goal of helping to address some of the most pressing information and systems challenges facing the social service sector in Washington state and beyond. CSSAT is an innovative, only-one-of-its-kind university based center that provides modern software development coupled with skilled data analytics. Our work helps government agencies collect and interpret data to reduce administrative time, monitor performance and improve service delivery for children and families in need.
Through our work we have seen that:
Intuitively designed, user-friendly software can efficiently collect required data in real time, enabling providers to spend more time with the children and families they serve
Well designed software can effectively and fairly track contracted social service provider performance.
And most importantly, data collected in real time by social service providers can be used to inform and improve the delivery of those services.
