The School of Social Work is pleased to officially welcome Carrie Seaberg as the new program support supervisor for the Facilities and Office Services team. In this role, Carrie will support both facilities and event services, partner on facilities projects, and work closely with the Dean and his immediate staff on community events. She will also supervise the SSW admin student employees.
Carrie is a familiar face at the School, as she’s spent the past 10 months contributing in a temporary capacity on the Facilities and Office Services team. Her longstanding connection to our community spans six years and includes previous roles with Forefront, Advancement, the Office of Field Education, the Latino Center for Health and the Dean’s Office.
Carrie brings a diverse professional background that includes experience in catering and event management, commercial floor planning, training and staff development, and customer service across both public and private sectors.
Beyond her professional work, Carrie exemplifies the mission of social work in her personal life. She is actively involved with The Mockingbird Society and was a foster parent, ultimately adopting her two daughters, Mina and Jazmin. She currently lives in Shoreline and enjoys crafting, reading and tackling home improvement projects.
In her new role, Carrie looks forward to strengthening cross-departmental collaboration, streamlining event support and helping create welcoming, functional spaces for all. Please join us in congratulating Carrie and celebrating this exciting new chapter!
