Caroline Sweeney (she/her) is passionate about research that seeks to increase access to effective therapeutic supports and interventions. She earned her MSW from the University of Southern California (USC) and completed certificates in Ending Homelessness and Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice. At USC, Caroline supported research at the Center for Homelessness, Housing, and Health Equity Research and the Homelessness Policy Research Institute and participated in research focused on health equity.

Since 2022, Caroline has conducted research with the Families and Children Experiencing Success Lab at New York University. She has also spent six summers supporting Summer Treatment Programs adapted for children on the autism spectrum at the University of Washington Autism Center and The ANDY Center.

Caroline values social work’s interdisciplinary, action-oriented approach. She is excited to complete her Ph.D. at UW, where she plans to explore how technology can be leveraged to promote equity and enhance engagement in mental health services.
