Hanna Cho
PhD Student
Hanna Cho earned a Bachelor of Law from Duksung Women’s University and a Master of Social Work from Yonsei University in South Korea. Her interest in international comparative social policy led her to receive her second master’s degree, a Master of Arts in Social Policy, at the University of York in the United Kingdom. She worked as a researcher for two years at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA), where she mainly participated in projects evaluating means-tested transfer programs for low-income families. Her current research interests include social policies and programs that can improve intergenerational socioeconomic mobility, young adults’ economic independence, and comparative research on welfare state models.
