Madeline Galbraith
Academic & Faculty Services Administrator
Dean's Office
Madeline Galbraith serves as Academic and Faculty Services Administrator in the Office of Academic Affairs, and has worked at the School of Social Work since 2000. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design at Iowa State University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Seattle University. She mainly works with faculty on workload and teaching assignments and coordinates program assessment for re-accreditation. Madeline helped implement and oversaw the School’s Art Committee from 2011-2014, which sponsored and curated over 25 exhibits during that tenure. She collaborated with numerous local and regional organizations to bring artwork to the School from less represented populations, which supports the School’s mission surrounding social justice.
Prior to coming to the School of Social Work, she worked at the Program for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Foster School of Business before it became a Center a few years later. Prior to coming to the University of Washington she worked within Seattle University’s Provost and Associate Provost Programs and Planning Offices, and part of her work there was help implement a new Ecological Studies Program and coordinate non-credit programs.
