Maribel Welch

Maribel completed her Early Childhood degree at Wenatchee Valley College in 2000. In 2012,
she went back to school at Eastern Washington University through the CWTAP program and
completed her Master’s degree in social work.

Prior to coming to The Alliance, Maribel worked for the Department of Children, Youth, and
Families for 16 years. She worked in various programs within DCYF that included, FTDM
facilitator, FVS, FRS, and CFWS.

Maribel joined the Alliance in 2022 as a development and facilitation specialist. She is excited to
collaborate with new social workers starting off their career with DCYF. She hopes to share her
knowledge and experiences of working with families, to build positive outcomes.
