Megan Reibel

Program Operations Specialist, Forefront Suicide Prevention

M.Ed. Seattle Pacific University (School Counseling)

Megan is Forefront’s School Based Programs Manager and comes to her role with over 15 years of
experience working with young people and their families as a school counselor, coach, classroom
teacher, and parent educator. Deeply grounded in the world of education, Megan works as a full-time member of Forefront’s professional staff, managing, directing, developing and supporting a
wide range of programing that focuses on comprehensive suicide prevention across the K-12 sector.
Megan believes the work she does with Forefront “is values driven, complex, and humbling; I work
across stakeholder groups to increase capacity, funding, and commitment to statewide suicide
prevention in our schools. It’s important and exciting work.” Before joining Forefront, Megan was her
school’s lead for prevention programming including suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention
work; giving her perspective of this work from both sides of the desk. Megan is passionate about
increasing the capacity of individuals, schools, and families to effectively manage mental health
challenges. Megan holds her Masters of Education in School Counseling and is certified as a
Professional Educational Staff Associate in School Counseling.
