Margaret Kuklinski appointed new director of Social Development Research Group

Margaret Kuklinski will be the new director of the School of Social Work’s Social Development Research Group (SDRG), beginning September 16, 2021. Kuklinski becomes the fourth SDRG director in its 42-year history and the first woman to hold that position.

Study finds increased depression and anxiety among Washington’s Latino communities during pandemic

In a report released recently by the Latino Center for Health, researchers found that 13% of Latino participants surveyed met the criteria for “depression likely” and 16 percent were seen as “anxiety likely.”
