is to establish a neighborhood hub and navigation center specifically for young people experiencing homelessness in the University District.

Jennifer Stuber shapes national model for suicide prevention legislation
As of July 1, all healthcare providers in Washington state are required to take an approved suicide-prevention course as part of their continuing education requirements—a first in the nation. “The law recognizes the key role medical professionals play in addressing the silent epidemic of suicide,” says social work professor Jennifer Stuber, a driving force behind the legislation.
