Last week, Dean Eddie Uehara extended a warm welcome to six new faculty members who joined the School this fall. During an orientation, the new hires received an overview of the School’s research strengths and depth in a briefing provided by Cy Talebi, assistant director of finance and research, and Karina Walters, professor and associate dean for research.

Although these individuals come from both coasts and the Midwest, they share some outstanding qualities in common: a record of research and scholarship, a commitment to classroom excellence, and a passion for social change.
