During the week of March 20, the School of Social Work observes the UW spring break with the following schedule and room changes:
Research Commons: Open during public business hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday thru Friday. There are no extended hours or weekend hours until Monday, March 27.
First Floor Stairwell: The stairwell between the first and second floors at the northern end of the FIrst Floor Gallery is closed for drywall repair and maintenance. If you need to get to the second floor, please feel free to use the far north or south stairwells or the elevators.
General Clean Up: Office Services staff is thoroughly cleaning break rooms, including refrigerators, and any items not labeled or dated will be tossed.
Conference Rooms 305/306: Divider walls are being installed in both spaces during the next week and the rooms are not be available for public use until March 27. Additional remodeling, including new carpeting, sun shades and painting will be completed in the afternoon and evening hours during the second week of April.
Second Floor Mail Room Business Hours: Starting Monday, March 20, and in the future, the Business Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday thru Friday, to better align building hours with the needs of the School of Social Work community. If faculty, staff or students need access to the building outside of public business hours, a Husky card will be required. If you have issues entering the building, please contact sswadmin@uw.edu.
