Margarita Arocho (Margie) is originally from Puerto Rico and her primary language is Spanish. Margie holds a Professional Language Certificate (certified DSHS Bilingual) and has 27 years of experience working for Children and Family Services under various capacities. Within CA, she has primarily serving CPS and CFWS programs and has been a CFWS/FRS Supervisor for the past 5 years in the Moses Lake office. Margie has also worked for Children's Services in the states of Texas, Montana, Colorado and Washing! ton for the last 15 years. She has experience working with Continuous Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance Case Review, Child Fatality, Multidisciplinary Teams, Mexican Consulate of Seattle, and is a strong advocate for children and families. Margie earned her MSW from Eastern Washington University (go Eagles) and has a BA (Applied Sociology and Psychology) from McMurry University in Abilene, TX. Margie is a proud mother of two adult children and 3 beautiful grandchildren; which she admits loving to spoil as much as she can! She also enjoys cooking, traveling and meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. Margie will be located in the Moses Lake DCYF office and will primarily serve Region 1.
