*Office of Admissions Operating Virtually / Reponse to COVID-19

Dear SSW Community,

Until further notice, all advising sessions with prospective/newly admitted students will be conducted as virtual or phone appointments. Our staff will continue to make modifications to upcoming prospective student information sessions. Our Admissions Team is accessible on a remote-basis for now, and we tentatively anticipate returning to our regular in-person format on Monday, March 30th. Prospective students can contact us via email at sswinfo@uw.edu with any concerns or questions, or to schedule a virtual or phone advising appointment. All Drop-In Thursday advising hours are cancelled for the remainder of March and will resume in April. The health of our students and greater SSW community is of the utmost importance to us, and we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation. The University of Washington continues to take appropriate action in response to the COVID-19 outbreak; see the official UW coronavirus website for updates and an FAQ.

Sincerely,
Office of Admissions
School of Social Work

Underrepresented applicants including veterans, students of color, individuals with disabilities, first generation college scholars, undocumented students and anyone interested in our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion are invited to contact our two Student Information Specialist ambassadors, who are also current MSW students.
