Emma Mallonée is the Training Manager for Forefront Suicide Prevention. Prior to joining Forefront, Emma worked at the Washington Poison Center conducting a statewide community needs assessment and providing community-informed recommendations for the organization’s public health strategy. She has also applied her public health skills in a wide range of settings, ranging from HIV test counseling in San Francisco to prenatal care and contraceptive education in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

Ambyr Travis

Ambyr Travis is the Training and Consultation Specialist for Forefront Suicide Prevention. Prior to joining Forefront, she worked to develop and design interactive eLearning training courses to reduce barriers in various health topics including contraceptive counseling and comprehensive sexual education. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, Ambyr worked in rural Paraguay for 2.5 years as a community health educator.

Menbere Mulate

Menbere Mulate

Menbere Mulate served nonprofit and international organizations as Finance and Administration Assistant both in Ethiopia and in Washington state for more than 12 years before joining the Alliance at the end of 2019.

She has a bachelor's degree in business administration, pursuing a major in accounting with a minor in human rights from the University of Washington in Bothell, and has an associate's degree in secretarial science from the College of Commerce in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Kelsey James

Kelsey James

Kelsey received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Ceramic Art from the University of Washington in 2018, and plans to pursue an MSW within the next few years. Prior to joining the Alliance in June 2019, she worked for UW Housing & Food Services, managing and mentoring a staff of over 100 student employees. Kelsey hopes to lead a career dedicated to improving the lives of children, with special interest in LGBTQ+ youth and juvenile rehabilitation.
